Night QualificationIn order to fly under the JAR rules at night (defined as the hours between 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise) you must hold a Night Qualification. Completing this rating either during or after your PPL training will allow you to fly with or without passengers at night.
Pre-Entry Requirements
The CourseThe CAA/JAR night qualification takes on average 2 to 3 nights to complete depending on the individual's experience. There is no examination and the rating is valid for life. |
