Private Pilot's Licence (PPL)

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requires a minimum of 45 hours training, including some solo flying, to obtain your Private Pilots Licence (PPL). Flying time can be spread over short or longer periods as required.

You may pay by the hour or take advantage of our discounted pre-payment scheme. The latter being the most popular, as shown by the list of items included, which are otherwise payable.

• Membership of Bournemouth Flying Club

As a part of your PPL you will need to complete an RT course. The course can be held in-house, including the Exam.
